Why The Seed 2020?

This FREE meet up is a networking event to showcase women-owned and minority-owned businesses in the Louisville area.

The idea was the direct result of the organizer and his team attending other networking events and seeing that women and minorities had a secondary role.  At one event, minorities had no roles.  The absence of entrepreneurs and executives tells even more about these networking events than the subjects of these events, and The Seed 2020 wants to fill this gap in a professional, constructive, and informative way.

The Seed 2020 was designed to showcase start ups, small businesses, and firms owned by women and minorities.  Anyone can submit a proposal for a presentation, but our focus is women-owned and minority-owned businesses and organizations.

The Obama administration marks a turning point in American politics, and we want The Seed 2020 to mark a turning point in Louisville for women-owned and minority-owned business opportunities and visibility.
